Our stations don’t just kill the mosquitoes that go inside—they also kill new larvae. Put it all together, and you’ve got a guaranteed tool for eliminating mosquitoes!

Our Process: How our mosquito control stations work

1 Deploy mosquito control stations
Preventive Pest experts will deploy mosquito stations around your property. The number of stations depends on the size of your area.
2 Attract mosquitos
Once activated, the control stations attract mosquitoes—including those ready to lay eggs. The interior is carefully designed to create a perfect breeding ground.
3 Infect mosquitos
Mosquitoes will rest on the interior of your control stations as they prepare to lay their eggs. As soon as they make contact, they’re infected with a spreadable pesticide. The mosquito will die in two to three days. Just as important, their eggs will also be infected.
4 Spread pesticide
Your mosquito control station spreads pesticides in two ways. First, larvae are instantly infected. They’ll emit a unique smell once they hatch that attracts additional mosquitoes and die before they’re large enough to escape. Second, larger mosquitoes entering the control station won’t die for two to three days, but they’ll spray the environmentally-safe pesticide wherever they go until then.
5 Let nature do its job
Once the control station is activated, your only job is to let nature take its course. It takes about two to three days to kill the adult mosquitoes and roughly three to four weeks to take full effect.

Utah mosquito breeding sites

Preventive Pest control stations eliminate pests in areas resistant to traditional mosquito repellents. Here are just a few of the hiding places commonly found in Utah yards that don’t stand a chance against our mosquito-killing buckets:

Flower Pots
Flowers add beauty to your home, but they also create small pools of standing water for mosquitoes to lay eggs in. That goes double for flower pots with saucers.
