Why do I have ants in my home even though it’s clean?

Ants are often drawn to homes in search of food and shelter, not necessarily because of cleanliness. Even tiny crumbs or a spill can attract them. Plus, if your home happens to be providing them a safe haven from outdoor predators or harsh weather, that may be a further reason they decide to stay.
