What attracts bed bugs?
Bed bugs are primarily attracted to humans because of the carbon dioxide we exhale, our body heat, and the distinct scent of our blood. Unlike mosquitoes and some pests, they aren’t drawn in by filth or decay. Rather, they prefer environments where they have easy access to feed, which is why they are often found in places where people sleep or rest for extended periods. It’s essential to note that bed bugs can infest both cluttered and clean spaces alike, as long as they have access to their human hosts.
